At their 1457th meeting, on 22 February, the Ministers’ Deputies held an orientation discussion with the Secretary General in view of the preparation of the Council of Europe Programme and Budget 2024-2027.
 
They also held an exchange of views with Mr Carlo Monticelli, Governor of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB).
 
The Deputies took note of the Secretary General’s report on the 18th Ministerial Conference of the Pompidou Group (Lisbon, 13-14 December 2022) and entrusted the group to successfully implement the road map contained in the Lisbon Declaration and its related 2023-2025 work programme.
 
They also welcomed the position statement of the European Committee on Organ Transplantation (CD-P-TO) on the Risk of Commodification of Substances of Human Origin.
