At their 1470th meeting on 28 June, the Ministers' Deputies continued their consideration of the follow-up to the 4th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe.
 
They also held an exchange of views with:

• Mr Tiny Kox, President of the Parliamentary Assembly, on the outcome of the 3rd part of the 2023 Session (Strasbourg, 19-23 June 2023), and
• Ms Dunja Mijatović, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights. 

On 29 June, the Deputies held an informal exchange of views on media freedom and safety of journalists, with the participation of: Mr Tom Gibson, EU Representative and Advocacy Manager, Committee to Protect Journalists; Mr Peter ter Velde, Project Manager, Persveilig, Netherlands; Mr Nicholas Williams, Policy Research and Advocacy Officer, Index on Censorship; Mr Christos Giakoumopoulos, Director General of Human Rights and Rule of Law, Council of Europe; Ms Maria Ordzhonikidze, Director, Justice for Journalists Foundation; and Mr Tomass Pildegovičs, Senior expert, Stratcom Center of Excellence, Latvia.
