During its 8th plenary meeting held in December 2023, the Steering Committee on Anti-Discrimination, Diversity and Inclusion (CDADI) established a working group to deal with its deliverables on hate speech and hate crime.
During the first working group meeting, the members met online to:
- Review the compilation of promising practices at national level and the self-assessment tool for the implementation of relevant aspects of the Recommendation CM/Rec(2022)16 on combating hate speech at national level;
- Discuss the roadmap and related activities for completing the CDADI deliverables on hate speech and hate crime as part of its 2024-2027 mandate, including a review report on the implementation of selected aspects of Recommendation CM/Rec(2022)16, and pending the adoption of the Recommendation on combating hate crime a compendium of promising practices at national level on combating hate crime
