The 4th and final meeting of the Committee of Experts on Hate Crime (PC/ADI-CH) took place on 4-6 October 2023 in Strasbourg under the Chairmanship of Stephanie Oener (Austria).

Over the course of the three-day meeting, the Committee examined and finalised the draft Recommendation on combating hate crime and its accompanying Explanatory Memorandum.

The draft texts will be submitted to the European Committee on Crime Problems (CDPC) and to the Steering Committee on Anti-Discrimination, Diversity and Inclusion (CDADI) for adoption in November 2023.

The PC/ADI-CH is a subordinate committee to the CDPC and to the CDADI. It is composed of national experts nominated by their respective governments, as well as independent experts and representatives from international organisations and civil society.
