On the occasion of World Refugee Day, the Council of Europe in co-operation with the UNHCR is organizing a Facebook Live debate on Thursday 20 June 2019 starting from 11 am. This debate will focus on the role of education in supporting refugees’ integration and the benefits of facilitating the recognition of refugees’ qualifications.
Testimonies of refugees who received a "European Qualifications Passport for Refugees" (EQPR) will be shared. This passport is a genuine tool for the integration of refugees into their host society and facilitates the recognition of their qualifications even if they cannot be duly justified by full documentation.
The debate will be in English and it will last approximatively 30 min. A live stream link will be made available and will be shared via Council of Europe social media channels and website for non-users of Facebook.
