On 26 September 2024, the President of the COP, Ms Oxana Gisca, held an exchange of views with the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers Rapporteur Group on Legal Cooperation (GR-J). On this occasion, Ms Gisca presented the COP 198 Activity Report for the period 2021-2023. Issues such as the ratification of the Warsaw Convention by the Council of Europe and non Council of Europe member states, the COP workplan of activities for 2024-2026 and the ongoing discussion on Additional Protocol to complement the Warsaw Convention were among the key discussion points. During the exchange of views, Ms Gisca informed the Rapporteur Group about the intensive cooperation the COP had with other Council of Europe bodies, as well as with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), underlining the impact the COP had in revising of the global standards in fighting money laundering and terrorist financing.
