Assessment of the Tunisian anti-corruption framework: on-site visit of CoE experts

A delegation of CoE international and local experts held a series of meetings with Tunisian authorities involved in the prevention and fight against corruption, in the context of the assessment of the Tunisian anti-corruption framework on the basis of GRECO methodology. The experts met, among others, with the new Ministry in charge of public function, governance and anti-corruption, the President of the Tunisian anti-corruption Authority (INLUCC), the Presidency of the government, the parliamentary Commission for administrative reform, good governance and fight against corruption, the Court of Auditors, as well as line Ministries involved in the prevention and fight against corruption.

A draft assessment report, which will then be discussed with Tunisian counterparts, is under preparation. The final report will include a set of recommendations to improve the Tunisian legislative and institutional anti-corruption framework and will be published in the 3rd quarter of 2016.
