The South Neighbourhood Anti-corruption Project II (SNAC 2) - framed under the South Programme II – held a two-day training workshop on anti-corruption inquiry techniques for the investigators of the Tunisian anti-corruption Authority (INLUCC) and representatives of other control and inspections bodies of Tunisia. Practical exercises included the analysis of Tunisian case studies on corruption in public procurement and the customs sector. Participants practiced various financial investigations techniques and discussed their application in the Tunisian context.
In addition to the broader aim of strengthening the operational and strategic capacity of INLUCC to investigate corruption, the training also focused on interagency cooperation and information sharing for a more effective and coordinated fight against corruption.
