The seminar on “Basic Anti-corruption and Anti-money laundering Concepts”, organised jointly by the Council of Europe and the European Studies Institute of the Moscow State University of International Relations (MGIMO), was held on 24-28 October 2016, in Moscow, Russia. The training was successfully completed by 144 Russian civil servants, from professional backgrounds including public administration, law enforcement and judiciary bodies, academia and business, and the State Duma.
Following successful annual training sessions held since 2012, the training programme has been expanded to include anti-money laundering and asset recovery issues, as well as other specialised topics including match fixing, integrity and corruption in sports.
