A two-day workshop on developing sub-legal acts to implement the Law on prevention of conflict of interest in discharge of public functions in Kosovo, took place in Pristina on 7-8 February 2019. The main objective was to assess the current status quo with regard to implementation of legal requirements on conflicts of interest as well as to better understand the needs of institutions and their competencies in this field. Considering that the new Law contains obligations for all institutions when dealing with conflict of interest cases, participants expressed their interest to develop a model regulation in order to ensure uniform application of the law. Representatives from the Anti-Corruption Agency, Office of the President, Assembly, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Police, Customs, Tax Administration and Kosovo Prosecutorial Council had the chance to discuss good practices and experience from CoE countries.
