Within the framework of joint EU/Council of Europe Project against Economic Crime (PECK II) a discussion on the Role of whistleblowers in the education system took place on 8 December 2017. The event was organised on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day, with the aim of raising awareness on the need to fight corruption and promote the practice of whistleblowing in the education sector. The event gathered students studying law, economics and public administration from university as well as high-school.

Active participation by students in the event demonstrated their eagerness to learn about the procedure and practices related to whistleblowing.

A TV Spot on the impact of corruption developed within the framework of PECK II Project was screened at the event.
