Within the framework of the South Neighbourhood Anti-corruption (SNAC 3) Project, a study visit of officials of the Jordanian Integrity and Anti-corruption Commission (JIACC) was organised to Bucharest, Romania on 12-14 March 2019. Representatives of JIACC’s integrity, investigation and prosecution units met with their Romanian counterparts, namely the National Integrity Agency (ANI), the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) and the Ombudsperson’s office, to exchange good practices in the areas of prevention and combatting of corruption. The delegation also visited the Council of Europe Cybercrime Office in Bucharest, where the CyberSouth Project team presented their activities in Jordan and the wider MENA region. The Study visit provided an opportunity for the anti-corruption authorities of the two countries to exchange relevant experience and to identify potential avenues for future cooperation.
