The Agency for Prevention of Corruption in Montenegro improves its communication strategy

Representatives of all divisions of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption in Montenegro participated in Podgorica on 21-22 June, 2022 in a workshop on the strategic planning of communications for the Agency.

The workshop aimed at updating the Agency´s current Communication Strategy (2017-2022) as well as its Action Plan to meet new communication challenges. The workshop built on an impact analysis of the previous strategy also produced by the Action, which was presented to participants. The analysis highlighted the good impact of the strategy on the reputation of the Agency and its perception amongst the public, but it also emphasized the challenges of its implementation, and it included recommendations to improve similar future strategic efforts. Based on these recommendations from the Council of Europe´s expert, workshop participants worked to formulate an outline of the new strategic communication objectives for the Agency, as well as concrete measures in achieving them, but also to identify new channels of communication and new target audiences to be considered in the new strategic cycle.

The workshop resulted in outline of the new Communication strategy and accompanying Action Plan, which will be further developed by the beneficiaries.

The workshop was organized within the framework of the EU/Council of Europe Horizontal Facility for Western Balkans and Turkey Phase II – Action against Economic Crime in Montenegro (AEC-MNE).
