A workshop on the “Methodologies for the implementation of liability of legal persons in the Czech Republic” took place on 26 January 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic. Over 50 representatives from the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior, prosecutors and judges attend this event in which the discussions focused on the challenges of implementing legislation on liability of legal persons, challenges in the investigation of such cases, the good practice examples of implementation of liability of legal persons in other countries etc. The participants had an opportunity to also discuss the content of the training manual developed under the project for the needs of the Czech law enforcement authorities.

A Council of Europe expert introduced the application form for Mutual Legal Assistance which was recently adopted by the Council’ of Europe’s Committee of Experts on the Operation of European Conventions on Co-Operation in Criminal Matters (PC-OC) and discussed the guidelines for submission of such requests based on the decisions of the PC-OC.
