PGG III : Enhancing anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing and asset recovery regime in Ukraine
In continuation of the previous phase (2019-2023) the technical assistance under the current project is earmarked to strengthen institutional capacities and legislative framework by addressing issues raised by MONEYVAL and assist Ukraine with the implementation of the priorities of the EU accession perspectives. Moreover, the action closely relates to the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine “Resilience, Recovery and Reconstruction” 2023-2026.
The main target of the project is to ensure the integrity and resilience of the national financial system in Ukraine are enhanced and protected from misuse for the purposes of money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing.
