Description
The Herzberge is a complex of brick buildings built in late 19th century for the Evangelisches Krankenhaus Königin Elisabeth Herzberge hospital. Its Boiler House (Kesselhaus) is nowadays a museum where technical exhibition about the boiler live with the history of medicine, hospitals and the architect Hermann Blankenstein.
The Herzberge Boiler House Museum is operated by the “Friends of the Herzberge Boiler House Museum” Association.
The Herzberge Boiler House Museum is an Individual Site of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
