- Description
- The Geological and Mining Park of Sardinia is a great cultural environment made up of workers' villages, extraction wells, thousands of kilometres of tunnels, industrial plants, ancient railways, documentary archives and memories of generations of miners. The Geo-mining, Historical and Environmental Park of Sardinia was declared the first Geo-mining Park in the world.
The Park is managed by the Consortium of the Geological and Mining Park of Sardinia.
The Geological and Mining Park of Sardinia is an Individual Site of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
