Description
The Devil’s Porridge Museum tells the story of the local cordite production H.M. Factory of Gretna, established by the Government during World War I. The Museum is an exhibition displaying the methods used to manufacture cordite and provides a guide to the architecture and landscape of the local communities created by industry in wartime.
The Eastriggs And Gretna Heritage Group is the Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation managing the Devil’s Porridge Museum.
The Devil’s Porridge Museum is an Individual Site of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
