Description: Governing body of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Government of Extremadura is in charge of regional powers in the areas of culture and art, cultural heritage, sports and tourism.
The Monfragüe Rock Art Interpretation Centeris is a tourist facility devoted to the rock paintings discovered in the Monfragüe region. The oldest local rock paintings date back to more than 8,000 years ago, in the Epipaleolithic period.
