Description
The Marie Tak van Poortvliet Museum Domburg has a collection of works of art from this seaside resort which attracted artists since the end of 19th century, when also the artist Jan Toorop for the first time came to Domburg. The Museum takes its name from the art collector, anthroposophist and agricultural pioneer Marie Tak van Poortvliet (1871-1936) and is a copy of the Exhibition Hall which was wrecked in 1921.
The Marie Tak van Poortvliet Museum Domburg is a member of euroArt – The European Federation of Artists’ Colonies.
