Description
Parc Samà in Cambrils is a private botanical historic garden, a spectacular example of romantic gardening from the 19th century that tries to reproduce the exotic and characteristic atmosphere of colonial Cuba. Salvador Samà i Torrens, Marquis of Marianao, commissioned the project in 1881 to Josep Fontserè, author of the Park of the Ciutadella de Barcelona, with Antoni Gaudí as assistant.
