- Description
- Port Sunlight Village was a model village built by William Lever at the end of 19th century to house the workers of his nearby soap factory.
The Port Sunlight Village Trust manages the local Port Sunlight Museum & Garden Village. The Museum celebrates the heritage of the village, its planning, architecture and gardens, from its foundation in 1888 to nowadays.
Port Sunlight is an Anchor Point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
