Description
The University of Bergen is a public Norwegian university, founded in 1946.
The University of Bergen represents the rock carvings at Vingen (Bremanger, Vestland) within the Prehistoric Rock Art Trails. The rock carvings at Vingen (Vingenfeltet) is a complex of some 1,500 petroglyphs dating back to 4000-2000 years BC, including animals, human and geometric figures.
