- Description
- The Abbey of Villeneuve is a former Cistercian monastery founded in 1201. Partly destroyed during the French Revolution and then abandoned, it was completely restored in 1977 and converter into a tourist reception facility (hotel) (www.cister.net/abbayes/fr/135/villeneuve).
