The 3rd plenary meeting of the Committee on Offences relating to Cultural Property (PC-IBC) will take place from 9 to 12 January 2017 in Strasbourg.

Under the authority of the European Committee on Crime Problems (CDPC), and in close co-operation with the Steering Committee for Culture, Heritage and Landscape (CDCPP), the Committee is currently preparing a new criminal law convention to combat the illicit trafficking of cultural property.

This pioneering convention should be ready in 2017 and will replace the European Convention on Offences relating to Cultural Property.
