On 1 June 2023, the Cybercrime Programme Office of the Council of Europe, together with the Council of Europe Office in Tunisia and the European Commission met with representatives from Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia for the 10th Steering Committee meeting of the CyberSouth project, in Tunis, Tunisia.
Project partners (Programme South, EuroMed Justice), together with observer countries – Palestine, Libya and Egypt - and other international organisations, including the League of Arab States and DCAF, also attended the meeting and shared their experience and plans in the cyber area.
As the project is approaching its final semester, its results were jointly evaluated and the next phase of co-operation with the Southern Neighbourhood countries was also discussed.
