Workshops on Cybercrime Reporting in Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Armenia

From 26 September to 27 October 2022, four assessment visits and related national workshops on cybercrime and cyber incident reporting were held in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Armenia to address the challenges of cybercrime and incident reporting.

These were carried out by the CyberEast joint project of the European Union and the Council of Europe and the CyberSecurity EAST project funded by the EU.

They followed the Cyber barometer studies and reports for the Eastern Partnership region prepared under both projects earlier in 2022.

The national workshops offered a platform for further analyses of matters related to reporting and for the further planning of actions with public and private sector partners in the four countries. Recommendations include setting up a unified system for cybercrime reporting and increasing capacities of institutions to share data on cybersecurity and cybercrime threats.
