The GLACY+ project organized in cooperation with the Cybercrime Forums Coordination of the Public Prosecution Services of the Lusophone countries (CPLP) and with the Office of the General Public Prosecutor of Cape Verde, an international conference on the Fight against Cybercrime – The Public Prosecution Services of the CPLP in the global context and the 2nd meeting of the Cybercrime Forum for CPLP countries.

The double event aimed at contributing to a greater awareness of the participants from Lusophone countries in the areas of cybercrime and developing better investigation skills in the participating prosecutors. It also aimed at raising the awareness among the Lusophone States which have not yet acceded to the Budapest Convention on the features, advantages and accession procedure to this treaty. The second protocol to the Budapest Convention was also discussed, as well as other major guidelines.

During the second meeting of the Cybercrime Forum, dedicated only for points of contact of CPLP countries, relevant topics were addressed, such as the specialization of prosecution services on cybercrime, the phenomenon of the fake news, a dedicated webpage of the Prosecution Services of the CPLP and the Action plan for the Cybercrime Forum: Cybercrime 2025.
