The Attorneys General of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the USA met in Sydney to develop an action plan on cybercrime. They agreed, among other, things, that the five countries should take steps to become parties to the Budapest Convention and promote the Convention as the key international instrument dealing with cybercrime as well as serving as a basis for capacity building.
