Today, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Mr. Paruyr Hovhannisyan, signed the Protocol amending the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Processing of Personal Data (STCE n° 223) in presence of the Deputy Secretary General, Mrs Gabriela Battaini Dragoni.

Armenia has been Party to Convention 108 since September 2012 and is now the 34th country to sign the modernised Convention 108.
