The Bureau of the Committee of Convention 108 held its last 2021 meeting, online, on 20 and 21 December.
It took stock of the work accomplished during the last two years and pursued its work respectively on the future evaluation and follow-up mechanism under Convention 108+, digital identities, inter-state exchanges of data for Anti-money laundering/countering financing of terrorism, and tax purposes, interpretation of Article 11 of the modernised Convention 108, contractual clauses in the context of transborder data flows and held exchanges with experts consultants working on some of the topics. All these themes included in the 2022-2025 work programme of the Committee will be further elaborated in 2022 .
