Most of the Council of Europe's official texts have been digitised. These electronic documents can be accessed by all users online by using the search tools on this site.

The Directorate of Information Technology enables internal users to consult the physical archives, on request.

The Archives' main responsibility is that of preserving documents. Consequently, archival material is only lent to museums or other cultural institutions under certain conditions.
