The publication and film on Mukhadjirstvo/Mahadjirstvo in the XIX century » have been issued in the autumn 2021. They are based on archive documents describing the context of the departure of the Muslim Abkhaz population for the Ottoman Empire, following the wars between the Russian and Ottoman empires in the second half of 19th century.
Both film and publication were elaborated with the support of the Council of Europe in the framework of the Tbilisi-Sukhumi Dialogue project.
The presentation to the public has been postponed due to Covid-19 context. It will be organised as soon as the sanitary situation permits.
