Following the pilot training on “Psychological Support to Refugees: Strengthening Professional Capacities” (Chisinau, 15-16 June 2022), the Council of Europe organised on 19-20 April, in Chisinau, a training seminar for professionals providing psychological support and assistance to children and adolescents who have experienced traumatic events.
This event was organised with the support of the Confidence-Building Measures Division of the Directorate of Political Affairs and External Relations (DPAER) of the Council of Europe, under the auspices of the Special Representative of the Secretary General on Migration and Refugees.
It was attended 36 psychologists working for the National Centre of Psycho-pedagogical Assistance, under the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, coming from 32 different districts across the country. Three Council of Europe international experts with extensive experience in working with war trauma guided the training.
