The second volume of the book on “Muhadjirstvo/Mahadjirstvo in the XIX century” has now been published. This volume and the previous one describe the context of the departure of the Muslim Abkhaz population for the Ottoman Empire, following the wars between the Russian and Ottoman empires in the second half of 19th century.
The official presentation of the second volume to the public will take place as soon as the sanitary situation permits.
