The programme aimed at supporting human rights and post-conflict reconstruction in the North Caucasus Federal District and in particular in the Chechen Republic. Training seminars for local self-government officials and conferences on various aspects of human rights are organised to disseminate European standards and experiences from other entities of the Federation and European states. Special attention is paid to youth, its integration in the wider Russian context as well as the creation of a sound basis for the reconstruction of a cohesive society in a post-conflict environment.
