As previously announced, the conference launching the Reference Guide Literacy And Second Language for the Linguistic Integration of Adult Migrants (LASLLIAM) will take place on Thursday 30 June 2022, at the premises of the Council of Europe, in Strasbourg, France, in hybrid format, in English and in French with simultaneous interpretation.
The conference will be the occasion to present the Council of Europe action on language teaching to migrants, the purpose and aims of the Guide, its scales, the validation and piloting processes along with a discussion on its use by the educators in the field and a round table on language policy issues. The event will gather the authors, international speakers and experts in the field, policy makers and educators. For more details you can consult the provisional agenda of the conference.
Those wishing to participate online or in person (at their own or their organisation’s expenses and upon availability of seats) are kindly requested to register as soon as possible and by the 10 June 2022 at the latest.
