On the occasion of World Refugee Day, the Council of Europe in co-operation with the UNHCR, is organising a Facebook Live debate entitled “Education and Refugees’ Integration: the European Qualifications Passport for Refugees (EQPR)” on Thursday 20 June starting from 11 am CEST.
Roland-François Weil, UNHCR Representative to the European Institutions in Strasbourg and Samir Hećo, Project Officer, European Qualifications Passport for Refugees (EQPR), Council of Europe Education Department will participate in the debate.
During the Facebook Live debate, stories and testimonies of refugees who were able to start a new phase in their lives by having their qualifications assessed and receiving a “European Qualifications Passport for Refugees (EQPR)” will be shared.
The debate will be in English and it will last approximately 30 mins. Facebook followers can post their questions in the Comments section of the Council of Europe Facebook page.
A live stream link will be made available and will be shared via Council of Europe social media channels and website for non-users of Facebook.
