The 94th Bologna Follow-Up Group (BFUG) Board meeting was successfully held in Tirana on 9 January 2025, hosted by the Albanian Ministry of Education and Sports. 

The event brought together the current, incoming, and outgoing BFUG co-chairs, alongside key stakeholders, including the Council of Europe and co-chairs of the BFUG working structures.

The discussions during the meeting focused on evaluating the progress of the working structures since the commencement of the 2024-2027 cycle. Key topics included assessing ongoing initiatives, planning future steps, and coordinating efforts for the upcoming BFUG plenary meeting, which will take place in Warsaw in February 2025.

This meeting served as an important milestone in advancing the objectives of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), ensuring continued collaboration among BFUG members and stakeholders. The outcomes of the discussions are expected to guide the next phases of work and strengthen preparations for future strategic meetings.
