The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted that online learning and courses can be highly beneficial when one wishes to acquire knowledge in an interrupted and quick manner.

The LEMON online platform offers 13 online self-learning courses on priority Council of Europe topics. While the courses are targeting education professionals, they are open to the general public and are accessible for free upon self-registration. A certificate of completion is awarded at the end of a course. The topics range from democratic competences to social media as a pedagogical tool, from controversy in the classroom to digital citizenship. Course duration ranges from 5 to 25 hours (depending on the course). To access the courses, please visit the LEMON platform.
