Twelve members of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova (CEC), including the Department for Communication, Public Relations and Media benefitted from engagement with a Council of Europe communication expert looking into the utilisation of effective communication tools in advance of the scheduled local elections on 5 November.
The participants strengthened their knowledge and skills concerning communication in critical situations, symmetric and asymmetric responses to media online accusations, as well as the CEC's approach to members of the general public in a more transparent and professional manner throughout the electoral period.
This activity was conducted within the Council of Europe’s “Improving Electoral Practice in the Republic of Moldova, Phase III” project, in partnership with the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova.
