A roundtable on the implementation of the Communication Strategy of the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training (CCET) by Central Election Commission of the Republic of Moldova took place on 28 April 2016, in Chisinau, Moldova. The activity was organised in the framework of the bilateral project “Strengthening the capacities of the CCET by Central Election Commission of the Republic of Moldova” which is part of the Programmatic Cooperation Framework (PCF).
The event brought together 22 representatives of NGOs (PromoLEX Association, Electronic Press Association/APEL, Chisinau School of Advanced Journalism, Association for Independent Press / API, Artico Centre) and public administrations (CCET, Central Election Commission, Coordination Council on Audiovisual, Ministry of Education, National Institute of Justice/INJ). PR and communication officials from these institutions discussed the possibilities to join efforts for improving the inter-institutional communication, to organise joint activities and to enhance their impact on the electoral processes. The event was also an opportunity to revise the communication workplan and the calendar of activities of the CCET in order to take into account the Presidential elections envisaged for 30 October 2016.
