is graduated in Law and in Political Sciences from Louvain University (UCL). He is currently Head of the Elections Unit at the Federal Public Service Interior in Belgium. In parallel, Mr Trannoy has been Head of the Legal Affairs Department at the Directorate General ‘Institutions and Population’.

Within his department, he ensures in particular that the legal aspects of the organization of elections are reconciled with the technological and "security" aspects of software used during elections in Belgium.
