 Project: ACTIVE PARTICIPATION AND YOUTH

Organisation: "Common Sense" Youth Organisation

 About the project

“Active participation and Youth” study session is a two-stage program that seeks to integrate young people living in rural areas, particularly those with fewer opportunities and disabilities, into society. During the first stage, youth will be informed about their social rights, civic responsibilities and the topic of active citizenship. Along the way, they will acquire the necessary skills to advocate for human rights and equality and understand the significant role of non-formal education in the lifelong learning process. After the first stage, which will be held in Azerbaijan in July, each participant will be asked to implement local actions in their communities. All results will be presented in the second stage, which will be held in Germany in the spring of 2023.

The main objectives are as follows:
  • to inform young people about their civic responsibilities and increase active citizenship;
  • to advocate for human rights and equality;
  • to deliver the importance of non-formal education in the lifelong learning process;
  • to support local school children and students in their self-development process.
