EduTalk@CoE: Ensuring Quality and Integrity in Transnational Education

Transnational Education (TNE) has significantly reshaped the global education landscape by offering students access to academic programmes across borders. This model fosters diversity, cross-cultural collaboration, and expanded learning opportunities. However, as TNE continues to grow, institutions face the challenge of maintaining academic integrity and ensuring rigorous quality assurance (QA) across different regulatory frameworks.

The upcoming EduTalk@CoE on Transnational Education: Challenges and Opportunities for Academic Integrity and Quality Assurance will delve into these critical issues, bringing together leading experts to discuss best practices and solutions for safeguarding educational standards in TNE.

During this event, our renowned moderator Elena Cirlan, ENQA, and speakers, Stig Arne Skjerven, Chair UNESCO's Global Recognition Convention, Francesca Villa, CIMEA and Vangelis Tsiligkiris, Nottingham Trent University and TNE Hub will share their perspectives on some of the key questions, such as:

  • Challenges and Opportunities: What are the main risks to academic integrity in TNE, and how can institutions mitigate them?
  • International Collaboration: How can standardisation and global partnerships enhance quality assurance in transnational education?
  • Role of Technology: How can digital tools help prevent fraud and support fair, accountable, and high-quality educational experiences?

Join us for this engaging EduTalk@CoE on Tuesday 1 April 2025 at 11:00-12:00 CET via Zoom.

Policymakers, educators, learners, higher education leaders, and all those interested in transnational education are invited to participate in this vital discussion on shaping the future of global learning.
