81st Meeting of the Committee of Permanent Correspondents

The Committee of Permanent Correspondents of the EUR-OPA Major Hazards Agreement held its 81st meeting on 16 May 2024 by videoconference. The main aim of the meeting was to discuss EUR-OPA’s contribution to the ongoing efforts to safeguard the right to living in a clean, healthy and sustainable environment for the current and future generations and to reflect on possible collaboration between the Bern Convention, the Landscape Convention and EUR-OPA Major Hazards Agreement with the view to increasing synergies responding the climate crisis.

Furthermore, the permanent correspondents invited the Security Innovation Center at the Faculty of Security Studies at the University of Belgrade to join the EUR-OPA Network of Specialised Centres.
