The Cesenatico townCesenatico is an Italian municipality of the Forlì-Cesena province, located on the Adriatic coast between Ravenna and Rimini. The pearl of the Adriatic, its fishermen’s capital, Cesenatico, is also a well-known seaside resort. The fishing harbour, built in 1502 according to the original plans of Leonardo da Vinci, represents the core of the town, an open air boat museum, where typical boats and old-time fishing vessels can be observed to this day.

Cesenatico is twinned with Aubenas (France), Delfzijl (Netherlands), Schwarzenbek (Germany), Sierre (Switzerland) and Zeltate (Belgium), all of them already rewarded with the Europe Prize.
