The European Committee of Social Rights (ECSR) is holding its 337th session from 16 to 20 October 2023, in Strasbourg.

Collective complaints procedure
On 18 October, Aoife Nolan, President of ECSR, will hold an exchange of views with the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers. This is an annual exercise, where the President of ECSR will inform the Minister’s Deputies, about key activities and achievements of the ECSR during the past year, notably under the reporting and collective complaints procedures. Ms Nolan will also address current developments and challenges facing social rights protection in Europe in general and the ECSR’s monitoring in particular.
On the margins of the 337th session, in the afternoon of 19 October, there will be an event to present the book project “Commentary on the European Social Charter” followed by a panel discussion on the cost-of-living crisis, co-organised by the Academic Network on the European Social Charter (ANESC) and the Department of Social Rights. Aoife Nolan will be among the speakers at this event (information and programme).
