As part of the Council of Europe Action Plan for the Republic of Moldova 2017-2020, the Department of the European Social Charter has successfully completed its Project on “Framing Cooperation for social rights development in the Republic of Moldova”.
A comprehensive needs assessment report was prepared in the framework of the project. The Report aims to address the current situation in the Republic of Moldova regarding the protection of social rights vis-à-vis the provisions of the European Social Charter, identify the priority areas and needs for further cooperation, and suggest concrete recommendations on how to address the shortcomings.
