Back No. 194/2020 Sindacato Autonomo Europeo Scuola ed Ecologia (SAESE) v. Italy

The complaint was registered on 9 April 2020. It concerns Article 6§4 (the right to bargain collectively – collective action) of the Charter. The SAESE alleges that the Italian Ministry of Education, with the support of the Commission for ensuring the the right to strike in essential public services, systematically obstructed the strikes called by the SAESE, in particular those of 8 January and 7 February 2020, in violation of the abovementioned provision of the Charter.
